Project Narrative

Modera Pomona is a large-scale, podium-style multi-family development designed to bring elevated, modern living to the area. My focus was on driving the leasing narrative through full-scale model unit design, while also injecting highly customized, bespoke furniture design into the primary architectural public spaces.

Technical Execution & Impact

• Custom Furniture Design & DFM: Acted as a true product designer for the main lobby, designing bespoke sectionals and custom lounge chairs from the ground up. Developed precise technical workorders and collaborated directly with fabrication vendors to translate design intent into manufacturable, commercial-grade realities.

• • Lead Designer for Model Residences: Directed the end-to-end design and execution of two distinct model units. Curated spatial layouts, materiality, and FF&E to strategically target specific renter demographics and accelerate the property’s 2024 leasing goals.
• • Vendor & Fabrication Management: Managed the technical dialogue between the design studio and external furniture manufacturers, reviewing shop drawings and ensuring all custom lobby upholstery met strict structural and aesthetic tolerances.
• • On-Site Installation & Logistics: Led the final on-site installation phase across the development. Supervised delivery teams, managed quality control for all custom-built pieces, and ensured spatial layouts matched the approved CAD plans flawlessly.
