Project Narrative
Lucia at Aviara is a premier residential development in Carlsbad, CA. My role focused on the high-impact public spaces and model residences, where I bridged high-level interior concepts with technical manufacturing to define the project’s "Modern California Oasis" brand.
Technical Execution & Impact
- • Lead Designer for Model Residences: Spearheaded the full design cycle for two distinct model units, managing spatial layouts, color palettes, and curated FF&E selections to drive leasing interest and showcase the property's lifestyle potential.
- • Amenity Space Technical Coordination: Managed the FF&E execution for all primary public spaces. Developed technical workorders and CAD-based specifications for custom furniture and architectural millwork components, ensuring design intent was met by fabrication vendors.
- • FF&E Specification & Procurement: Curated a sophisticated palette of luxury textiles and accessories for the clubroom, lobby, and outdoor amenity areas. Managed complex specification data and vendor communications via InDesign and Google Sheets.
- • On-Site Installation & Logistics: Co-led the final installation for the amenity wing and model units. Supervised white-glove delivery teams, conducted rigorous quality control (QC) assessments, and directed the precise placement of all FF&E assets according to CAD furniture plans.
